Abstract

Anoura cultrata Handley, 1960 is a rare nectarivorous bat of the Glossophaginae subfamily that inhabits mountain environments, from Costa Rica to Bolivia (Tamsitt & Nagorsen 1982). In Colombia museological records of specimens and reported in specialized literature, as well as records of the GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility) database indicate that the species is present in the Andean region of Colombia
