Presentation of the book of summaries of the IV Colombian Congress of Mammalogy

Abstract

It is a pleasure for the editorial committee and scientific committee to present the book of abstracts of our IV Colombian Congress of Mammalogy, held virtually from December 22 to 26, 2021. This event represents a significant advance in the growth and consolidation of the Colombian Society of Mammalogy (SCMas) and is a natural product of the growth and development of the study of mammals both nationally and in Latin America, showing the strong growth and progress of science in our region. The event had more than 200 oral presentations and posters, from more than 10 countries and about 350 participants, this Congress becomes the maximum event of mammalogy in Colombia and a very significant contribution to Latin American mammalogy.
